Robert Sechrist opened Acquire Digital in his hometown of Nashville Tennessee after spending three cycles living in Washington DC working for the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC). Robert managed digital advertising buys and developed online organization efforts across the country. During that time, the RSLC earned a reputation of success and innovation: consecutive cycles of historic gains and becoming the only Political organization in the world to run it’s own internet domain, .GOP. In 2014, Robert was recognized by Campaign and Elections Magazine as a Rising Star.
More recently, Robert led the digital grassroots program for the Fantasy Sports Industry – facilitating hundreds of thousands of emails, phone calls, post cards, social media messages, and new voter registrations from players of fantasy sports. An unprecedented 10 states have passed legislation into law.
Robert is married with 3 kids.
Shelby Hughes Taussig
VP of Development
Shelby Taussig is the Vice President of Development at Acquire Digital. Shelby plays a crucial role in developing and securing new business opportunities, as well as strengthening new client relationships with a smooth onboarding process. She also manages AD’s internal systems including online campaign implementation and monitoring, billing, and reporting.
Before joining the AD team, Shelby spent three years in the corporate advertising world performing account management and business development for agencies in Atlanta and Orlando. She received her Masters in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College and her undergraduate degree in advertising from the University of Florida. With a bright personality and contagious smile, Shelby ensures our clients are set up for success with memorable creative, targeted strategies, and strong relationships.
Senior Vice President
Will is a native Floridian with extensive political experience on Governor Jeb Bush and Governor Mitt Romney’s presidential campaigns. In between those campaigns, Will worked Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) leading the effort to secure and launch the domain .gop as the preferred domain for the Republican Party.
His background includes two years in NYC as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and two years with a successful technology startup aimed at yield management for restaurants called savored.com which was acquired by Groupon in 2012. Will is a graduate of Georgetown University.
Chief Creative Officer
With a background in digital, print, video and audio, Kyle has been involved with creative production of all mediums for well over a decade. Kyle has offered his successful creative services to all industries spanning from entertainment to pharmaceutical healthcare, and all in between. From product branding to advertising, Kyle knows exactly what an audience expects to see from clients, and exceeds expectations in the ever-changing world of digital media.
In 2015, Ana received her degree in public relations from the University of Alabama. Following graduation, she returned home to Nashville to pursue a continued interest in communication. Ana joined Acquire Digital in June of 2016 with a background in marketing which she gained from multiple internships and numerous leadership positions held while a student at UA. Ana works as a liaison to ensure that client expectations are not only met, but consistently exceeded.
Client Services Director
Emily serves as the Client Services Director on the Acquire Digital team, maintaining day-to-day relationships with clients to help further their digital efforts.
Prior to coming to AD, she worked in communications, graphic design and event planning for the Alabama Republican Party. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Emily graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013 with a degree in Advertising and English.
Ivan Daunis is a technologist with a unique and creative background in many computer languages and architectures. With more than 20 years of experience in advanced software development, he has designed high-scalability Internet infrastructures for 24-hour news television networks, and has created from scratch content management frameworks for dozens of social networking websites and Internet startup companies.
Prior to the era of Web 2.0, Ivan participated in the development of the ViewPoint Media Player and the world’s famous HotDog HTML Editor among many other desktop applications. Ivan delivers a special enthusiasm in entrepreneurship to all his work. He is the founder of several startups and has helped grow many others, always driven by unrelenting pursuit of high performance and optimization.
